Batman: Arkham Origins announced for an October 25 release, on PC, PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii U. The game is not being developed by Rocksteady, but instead in house through Warner Brothers. The game takes place on Christmas Eve in Gotham City as Batman meets many of the notorious villains for the first time.

I'm skeptical on the development team change but I like the story.

I'm into the idea of it, but I am kind of worried it's not being developed by Rockysteady, and the fact that the lead is the guy who did Prototype.

Deathstroke at least, as he's been shown already. I'd guess Deadshot will be there. Maybe Merlyn, Cheshire, Sportsmaster (if they use the cool version from the Young Justice cartoon), Lady Shiva, Bronze Tiger, and David Cain? I heard 8, but some of those are stretches for sure. Wonder if/how Ra's and the League of Assassins will fit into this.

This.

Hope it's awesome, though. Arkham City is one of my favorite games ever.

If they stick to the formula Rocksteady incorporated into the previous games it should be good.

Wow, they've completely screwed themselves. Those Prototype games are such a far shot from the quality of recent BM games. I fail to see why they would do this; finally make excellent BM games that appeal to gamers worldwide (in addition many who aren't huge BM fans) and then pawn off the series to a crappy developer.

Yeah I'm doing my best to be optimistic. In this passing on sense I loved Knights of the old republic 2, bioshock
2 and fallout new Vegas

Can't wait, I still haven't played Arkham City due to only buying a PS3 this year, but Asylum was a dead good game.
