The rights of the minority should never be subject to the whims of the majority. Fuck off, heckler. I can't believe you haven't been banned yet.

Factually and unarguably incorrect. What I just bolded is ignorant and lacking basic knowledge and logic.

Here's some substance for you: no one is forcing you to believe what they believe. No one is forcing you to think gay marriage is okay. People who are against gay marriage having to deal with the fact that it's legal is not even remotely the same thing as voting to take AWAY their right to get married.

They're not forcing the anti-gay people to do ANYTHING. They don't have to watch them get married, they're not forcing them to get gay married. It LITERALLY impacts their lives in no way. At all. Ever.

This isn't drugs or guns or anything of the sort. It's a group of people taking away the right to celebrate their love for each other the same way because they were born differently. That's literally what happened in California. And you support that. You support taking away someone's rights.

Because, guess what? It's factually unconstitutional:

And you want to tell me it's okay for states to pass laws telling people who they can and can not marry?

Do you realize that it wasn't until 1967 that the Supreme Court ruled to invalidate laws that prohibited white people from marrying black people? You're aware of this, I assume. The fact that there were once state laws that banned interracial marriage?

And you want to tell me it's okay for states to pass laws telling people who they can and can not marry?

Lovely.

I'm pretty sure it's common knowledge.

I've always been confused by all of this gay marriage stuff. Perhaps it is ignorance, but do most states have laws that explicitly say gays cannot be married? I just would think that this would never have been specified, and if it isn't specified, why isn't it legal? You know?

Like for instance, something like punching a pillow wouldn't be explicitly listed in a law as illegal, so it would be legal. I feel like this would be true about gay marriage as well.

These are the things that should have never been passed, so then we would not have these discussions.

We still would have them. A large part of the argument for marriage equality is rooted in equal recognition and benefits, and that wouldn't have been possible under law.

Same-sex marriage is a very long time issue. We cannot deny the fact that all religious organizations can never accept this idea because of their unbreakable principle in accordance with our Holy Bible. But then again, people have different point of views that only man can understand. They accept homosexual marriages because they believe that happiness would only find when they become as one with marriage contract at hand. This is a proof of their love to each other. Now, this is not only the issue. Have you heard about "second parent adoption credit"? They have said that actually gives an advantage to gay married couples over heterosexual ones.
