That aside... I am afraid I am gonna be disappointed in the new misery signals album from the two songs they have posted. Parallels is by far better than Weight of the World but still nothing near as good as anything on mirrors or malice.

Not bad at all.

This is better than the last one, I think that the first one might be like on mirrors where they opened with a really heavy song, and then they were mellower the rest of the album.

i don't know guys, I've liked both songs a lot.

I'm feeling the same about the two songs.
Mirrors has to be one of my favorite records all time.
They are less technical and more hardcore and that's just not that good for me.

But I'm still hoping that it will be a good album

never listened to this band, but pretty impressed by both those songs, really like the melody without resulting to cliched clean vocals

I agree.. parallels is a better song than weight of the world. I have to say though as much as I think Karl is a good replacement ever since Jesse left the band, I still thought Jesse's screaming gave them a signature sound more. A band is more than just one member but I thought it differentiated them.

i dont think i've ever really listened to these guys really. i kinda like what i hear though. im going to see thing on the as i lay dying/august burns red tour. i know andy from fall out boy pimps their shirts a lot haha

i hate the vocals on this song, they sound really different than mirrors and not in a good way.

I cannot wait for this album. Def one of my most anticipated.
