|In a new interview with Joey Armstrong of Emily's Army, he and PropertyOfZack discuss the positive and negative connection of being related to the lead singer of Green Day. |
When I was younger I did. I was like, “Oh. Wow. Some people are harsh.” I’m really excited for this whole album to come out because we released one song out of sixteen and that one song – of course there are going to be people that compare me to my dad and to Green Day. Yeah, our influences include Green Day. It makes sense; I grew up listening to my dad. So I grew up listening to the same stuff he listened to. What I just want people to know is that some people go to work with their dads and some people go fishing with their dads; for me it’s cool because I get to play music with him. I think that’s pretty rad. I think I’m really lucky to have the experience of working with my dad a lot in music.
