I dont understand the listening curve comments. This is one of the most original sounding records I have heard in quite some time and was hooked every time I heard something new. Listening to the album for the first time today, I can now say it lived up to every expectation I had for it. Production on it sounds insane and every song is so unique. Confessional is fucking HUGE!

What's not to understand? I'm suggesting that on first listen, it's a little difficult to consume - which is fairly apparent by some of these comments.

I still think it's a great record - but it takes a few spins.
I guess because I was hooked right away. I can see what you and others are saying though. Whats weird is, Basement Tapes took me a few listens to get into. I had a different experience with this new material I suppose.

-To piggyback off of this, there's so many interesting musical moments going on.
-This record REQUIRES multiple listens. You'll thank yourself for putting the time in.
-If you can't appreciate tracks like "Set A Fire", "Vacation Days", or "Television", you might not have a soul. Seek medical attention immediately.
-Headphones listening is a must. There's so many details that may be missed in a car stereo.
