Lou Pearlman, the man credited for creating pop acts such as The Backstreet Boys and *NSync, was sentenced Wednesday to 25 years in federal prison for engineering a decades-long scam that bilked thousands of investors out of their life savings. This was the maximum sentence the boy band mogul could receive for allegedly swindling some $300 million from investors and banks since the early 1980s.
What the hell was going through him mind when he did this. Did he feel he didn't make enough off BSB and N*Sync??
It says further on in the article that this was done in the early '80's. It doesn't surprise me, though. Maybe he'll lose some weight, only being able to eat cheese sandwiches for the next quarter century.
