If you like Alex's voice, you really should check out his stuff in Ima Robot, there are endless quality demos, and B-Sides out there.

But he's been quoted for saying this album is going to be much more energetic. Basically they recorded somewhere near 37 songs and had to separate them into different albums that fit sonically. He wanted to do a double album, but I doubt the label would have let that happen.
