Aaron Marsh Says Copeland Won't Tour Again; Album...

Posted by: Keagan Ilvonen (05/25/13)
In a new interview with Aaron Marsh, he says that Copeland won't tour again, but under the right circumstances, they could make a new record. Also, be sure to check out The Lulls in Traffic's new song, "Regret" on Vube and be sure to vote for them to help fund their new record.

I am totally okay with that. Not that their live shows weren't great, as they were, but I will take new Copeland any way I can get it.

Edit: The stuff about Copeland's breakup is some sad stuff. YAMS is what I usually consider to be their best album and established a really unique sound that I would love to hear explored more. I know Aaron's mentioned the financial stuff on here briefly and in comments on various front page posts, but it's still always disheartening to hear.

New Lulls song is great too. I'm really interested in hearing the full album, whenever that comes out. A solo album sounds pretty amazing too, but I know that's a long shot.

Or tour. Feels like its getting to that time where I usually find a way to road trip to a copeland show or spending the day in the city before their show. Man, feels sad.

I saw their last show in Toronto and the ending to "You Have My Attention" induced goosebumps and tears. One of the best concerts ever, hands down.

this band was just always in the wrong scene making music far too good for their listeners.

the fact that i will never see the end of 'you have my attention' again bums me out....

Sadly, I won't believe it until I see it.

He said the same thing after the farewell tour. Seems as though it's still on his mind, which can only be a good thing.
