mindless pop is what he's always been great at. wrote "fireflies", katy perry, kelly clarkson songs, etc. doubt he'll stop. but I wouldn't worry about RK's future. even though the new album is way pop, he could have easily turned songs like this one and "good time" into RK tracks so he definitely knows how to separate it.
well yeah, I don't really care if he writes songs for other people, there's nothing in this one where I go "oh, I wish he kept this line for himself" or anything like that. Like you say, long as he knows how to separate it. I'm not into the new stuff, but he's the best at writing clever stuff that can still carry substance so like I say I still look forward to the next album.
