I definitely agree about the filler tracks, M/O albums always suffer from that. There's nothing wrong with a 10-11 song album, no need to try and make it longer with subpar tracks

Cannot stand the lyrics to Boy Without Batteries, but otherwise it's their best release yet.

I really like this record for some reason. It's a very well done mature pop-punk record with just enough "guilty pleasure" built in.

Their self-titled album was much more interesting to listen to than this. Heart attack is an ok album, and if it wasn't released so soon after a bunch of other really solid pop punk albums it might sound better, but I'm not all that into most of these new songs. There are some really great tracks, but overall this release just falls flat for me.

Good review. Definitely grew out of this band, I thought this release would maybe get me back into them but it didn't

Where I Left You and Wide Awake are great though

Great review. If I were to review it, I'd give it a 6.5-7. The lyrics are outright cringe-worthy at times ("you wanna see something creepy?" from Boy Without Batteries comes to mind) and a good handful of the tracks are undeniable filler, but this is an improvement over the Self-Titled. IMHO, Real Talk is the best thing this band has done to date.

Self titled and this are major step downs compared to Before We Met and Real Talk. Will try this album again but something about the last few albums haven't grabbed me like they did.

I think both the self-titled and Real Talk are better than this. I don't really see the growth othe people are talking about from this album. I only went in expecting catchy pop-punk, so it's not like the lyrics were a letdown for me, but this was, to me, their least catchy stuff yet.

I will say "How to Hide Your Feelings" is a standout. That is one slice of catchy goodness.
