This track is an awesomely bold way to come back. Like previous posters have said, they are totally underrated. Regardless of what era of the band you want to look at, there has been a remarkable level of diversity and musicianship, all topped off with infectious hooks. How this band has not been bigger than they have been is entirely beyond me.
Start your career with a cover/novelty song and people expect more. Delivering solid tracks after that seems like a letdown and you end up a one-hit wonder (in the public's eye). But I've never considered them very good tbh. I bought the second album (with Glow) and didn't get much out of it the first time, or when I went back. These Days is the pick of the tracks from memory.
