I honestly did not think Norma Jean would get heavier than Meridonial, if only because.. well.. I didn't really think they'd want to. But I sure am glad they did. So, so glad.

I'm probably alone on this but I miss the melodic parts they use to have. I dig this too though but Cory's voice was pretty awesome on the singing parts.

Looking forward mostly to the "other half". This kind of song is also good, but they pass by in a blur.

This song is just crazy. So is the album too. A lot of people slept on Meridional but grab Wrongdoers on release day. It took em a while, but I think Norma Jean outdid themselves.

I really just don't like Meridional and I don't understand why. Especially after I LOVED the first three albums and really enjoyed Antimother, the album bored me.
However, I dig this track and will give the new disc a listen.

Any other links? The site is down right now. It just won't load and I've been to other sites (such as streaming the excellent new night verses track) but this one is giving me problems.
Edit: Nevermind. Got it. Sounds awesome.
The lame part is that it's so short. It's a good heavy intense 2 minutes but too short. Song rips though, really mixes the progression of later norma jean with the technically of O God. The riff that starts around 40 seconds is a real head banger.
Also the production is the tighest I've heard on a metal song in a while. Love the mixing, the tones of all the instruments, everything about it is so crisp yet so raw. You've got all the feedback but it's controlled.

Never really listened to Norma Jean, but I'm digging this song for sure. Album/song recommendations for a jumping off point?
