I can do this.
Jason TateI'm gonna plug the AP.net Podcast, my blog, and making sure all your RSS feeds are backed up before Google Reader dies.
Kelly DohertyI saw The National live this week, therefore Trouble Will Find Me is on repeat at the moment. McCafferty's new single "Trees" and Tom Odell's Long Way Down are also wonderful.

my Spotify playlists

We Could Sleep On A Beach All Night (rock/acoustic) - for late nights
Old School, (G)old Times (late '90/early '00s pop-punk) - nostalgia. the most recent song is from 2003.
At The Top Of Your Fucking Lungs (post-hardcore, breakdown-filled rock) - my cup of anger.
How Am I Gonna Get Myself Back Home? (U2-inspired rock, tv drama soundtracks) - great for autumn evenings/nights. not finished yet.
It Was A Young and Angry Summer (new-ish pop-punk) - another playlist perfect for summer.
Mostly, I'm A Bore (post-hardcore) - soundtrack for troubled days.
A Song That I Can Sing In My Own Company (acoustic/laid-back stuff) - perfect for http://www.rainymood.com/
I Feel Fine (rock/acoustic) - has some old jams.
So Long, Sweet Summer (rock/acoustic) - pretty self-explanatory title.
Tré... Dos... Uno... Century Breakdown! - a "greatest hits" from the last 4 GD albums.

and these two songs

Finally listened to Radiohead, OK Computer and Kid A really hit me hard last night, even if they gave me the heebie-jeebies.
I'm also hooked on the new The World Is A Beautiful Place record, Whenever, If Ever, as well as Have Mercy's record The Earth Pushed Back (Topshelf records killing it this year).

It's been really quiet music-wise.

I'm watching the original Star Trek series which is actually great. It's incredible how well the show has held up (for the most part). Also re-watching 30 Rock in anticipation of the final season arriving on Netflix.

Dexter final season premiere tonight?

Listener
The World Is A Beautiful Place, Pity Sex, Dads

Off With Their Heads
Koji, Turnover, Have Mercy
The Appleseed Cast, Dr. Dog, Into It. Over It., and Hostage Calm.

And then September is Brand New (as long as they don't cancel...)

After finally getting a date for a new record, I've been listening to a ton of The Dismemberment Plan.

Oh, and Run the Jewels is fantastic.

-I can't stop listening to the new Real Friends EP. Put Yourself Back Together. I need help.
-The Traditional, always. Their new single is awesome.
-The way my entire Twitter feed is nothing but Warped Tour updates right now.
-That Late in the Playoffs release, which was fantastic.

Plan to spend the next little while listening to the last two AP.net podcasts while researching for my novel. Sundays off are good.

It really annoyed me. Even it wasn't quite fond of the record, the writer sounds like he hasn't actually listened to it.
