I think I'm the only one who thinks "If Only You Were Lonely" was their best album. So underrated in my opinion.

I have never been really let down by a HH album, and this one was great.

Cool review, very thorough! I'll be putting mine up next week, but I found the album to be a bit more of an awkward entry in their discography...just a little too cheesey for my tastes.

I couldn't make it through. The concept that they actually based the album off of is wrong. It's so just..weak
Agreed, I'm not a fan of the concept they chose, but the actual music is good enough that I can spin it

I'm guessing it's no Danger Days?

I liked some songs from this, but overall it came off as a weaker version of Danger Days. I think Skeletons is probably the band's best album.

You are right. It is their best.

Love all their other work, but know little about this. What is this "concept" that is being spoken about?

It's kind of about a post-apocalyptic society, I believe.

I really enjoyed this album. It took catching their set at Warped Tour to make me have an interest in this band again. I'm glad I bought it on the fly. Sparks is an amazing song.

I hated Silence in Black and White so much that I actually took my friend's copy (who hated it too) and we stomped on the CD and threw the case around til it was all shreds.

Funny, I found it in my friend's CD case and threw it out the window while we were driving across the Brooklyn Bridge, sometime in 2004.

At the time, the "for fans of Taking Back Sunday and Thursday!" sticker on the front really annoyed me. That, and the fact that I had been trying to get my friends to listen to anything slightly "heavy" for a long time, and suddenly they were sold on the most watered down, bullshit songs ever (such as "Ohio is for Lovers") after hearing them on MTV repeat.
