Wow, that's a lot of states they're boycotting. Wasn't aware 22 other states had the same law. Should be interesting to see how many other artists follow their lead.

It's kind of dumb to punish fans that really might love your music for something they can't really change.

I think there are much smarter and more productive ways to protest and react against the implications of the verdict.

If it were me, I would have started boycotting it after Casey Anthony. That said, people don't realize that this was an issue with the prosecution's take on the case. Boycotting the state isn't going to change anything, but it's nice PR.

Don't see how boycotting is ineffective. It's proven to be one of the most effective methods of protest in a free market society. When concerts start drying up, fans take note of why and would presumably carry that to the ballot box.

was it more the Zimmerman case or the case of the mom trying to protect herself? Or both? This is interesting.

Hang in there Florida. There was a time where a bunch of artists boycotted Arizona too.

Not saying that i disagree with you at all, but what would be some more effective ways as a big name artist?

He did but the news won't cover it for more than a day. He's still a racist white Hispanic that shot a young black boy at point blank range in their eyes.
