This album was recorded separately and there is apparently some sort of division between them, right? I always have a lot of trouble getting into albums/bands that do that. I mean, the song is good, but if that's true, it makes the whole thing seem kind of artificial and forced. I don't know, that sort of thing just rubs me the wrong way.
Edit: doesn't mean I don't like them, obviously, I really like this song. I just always find it odd when bands do stuff like that.
Video released on NPR shows them creating the album together, so I'm thinking they stopped talking to each other after the album was finished.
