Cool list. Only thing I would add would be The Civil Wars and Earl Sweatshirt. But overall kind of a lame month. Bring on September - The 1975, Chvrches, Volcano Choir, The Weeknd, & MGMT are my most anticipated for that one.
I wish bands were good still. I'd be totally pumped to get up early and head to the store as soon as they open. Thing is, the vast majority of bands now just don't do it. Used to be we had DOZENS of great bands actively writing and touring (by dozens I mean dozens I was into)n now that number is drastically reduced. Only release I'm excited about in August is by brothers bands EP. I'm pumped, perpetually, for the next Thrice album. That happened just after I heard Identity Crisis for the first time. It'll end when they're all dead.
