not really into their current roster. they were doing things right but a lot of the bands they signed ended up putting out really bad records with them (imo). which absolutely isnt the label's fault, but i still get a giant feeling of "meh" when i hear the name brought up
agreed. i was just like "eh, no" when i read this news post..

This is really confusing to me because I've thought that they were already on Rise for a long time
actually their first 3 records were on bridge nine
i'm actually confused as to why they left and moved to rise?

Because Rise is a bigger label with better resources for promotion and a good proven track record recently?

Not to say that I don't love B9. But Polar Bear Club has been getting bigger steadily with each release. It makes sense for them to move on now.
i guess. let's see how the album turns out

Their first full-length was on Red Leader Records actually

i was shocked to see them on that TBS tour, i was so stoked for them.

oh no! i mean it's coming this fall. sorry for the misunderstanding.

i did see them on their headlining tour for CBGP with fireworks, b&c, mdam. they were fantastic. and before i saw them, i had heard nothing but good things about their live show.
