I doubt this album will sell. There's something about singers that win (or receive) record contracts from a reality TV competition. They usually wind up flopping anyway (unless we're talking about American Idol). I have yet to see someone from The Voice, America's Got Talent or The X-Factor get a contract from the show and go on to become a big star. Sure, they'll get a nice tour (Emblem3 touring with Selena Gomez, for example) but that's it.
Emblem3's debut album came in at #7 with around 45,000 copies sold. For an indie label like Equal Vision or Epitaph, that would be stellar. For a major label, that's pretty much the end of your contract. If Cassadee doesn't sell 200,000+ copies of her album in the first week then she's probably getting dropped.
Aren't One Direction from the X-Factor? Still, I get your point. Maybe if it doesn't sell well, she'll bring Hey Monday back or something.
