Captain, We're Sinking's pair of EPs (It's A Trap! and With Joe Riley) are far from mediocre. The Future Is Cancelled is their best work no doubt, but those EPs were ridiculously good to me.

Eh, they're by no means BAD but they just didn't have as much lasting power for me.

these are organized by like sound and style generally over four parts right? I think I remember that's how its done and the later parts always get way more interesting.

Interesting and varied list - bravo. Just a couple minor annoyances:

*When recommending a sample, "saying listen to [whole album] in its entirety it kind of defeats the purpose. While both Polyenso and owel's albums are masterpieces and I personally think it's best to hear the whole thing, always having a chosen track that gives a quick taste of what the band is about is more useful - not everyone has time to run through all this music.

* The Bury Tomorrow write up annoyed me, two mentions of "here in America". Not every user is American nor is much of the staff and not every band gives a rats ass to be "big in the US". Closed minded writing style IMO - keep it globally appealing.

Here comes Britain, eh? It has a lot to offer right now if you like melodic rock.

Also, as I was watching Hacktivist I thought of Hyro Da Hero and I wonder where he is and what he's doing. I enjoyed his brand of rap rock but he went all quiet?

He seems to be working on some new music according to a recent FB post.

This band Coastline is bringing back memories of high school. I love it.
