Storm Damages Passion Pit Gear; Band Plans DJ Sets for Next Few Shows

Last night in Chicago, a storm damaged nearly 75% of Passion Pit's gear, so the band will be playing "DJ sets" for the next couple of Canadian dates.

I guess its kind of hard for the music they play to just borrow gear from another touring band. but that sucks though to collect gear for years and lose it all because of a storm

DJ sets? Like karaoke to their own songs?

I was there for this. They brought out some dude named Jeff and just had him play dubstep stuff for an hour while the lead singer stood around and occasionally yelled "You still having fun, Chicago?" at the crowd. Every once in a while Jeff would mix in vague samples of Passion Pit intros and stuff. Super disappointing, but the storm that ruined all their stuff was no joke.
