No Sleep Sign RescuerHuntington Beach independent label No Sleep Records is proud to welcome Tampa, FL based rock outfit Rescuer to the label’s close knit, burgeoning family. The band is currently on tour, making their way back to their home state for a performance at Fest in Gainesville at the end of October.
“As of late, we’ve been fortunate enough to find people who understand our intentions, and help us find the opportunities that make it possible to pursue them,” says vocalist JP Marra. “For that we are forever grateful. We all admire No Sleep and are honored to be a part of the family.”
“On the first listen of their With Time Comes The Comfort full length earlier this year I knew that this band would be a great fit for No Sleep, and when the chance came I jumped on it,” adds No Sleep president Chris Hansen. “Rescuer are going to make an impact in 2014, and we are stoked to be on their side.”
Formed in 2011, Rescuer exists to understand and immerse themselves in their surrounding by creating music that is honest and cathartic while still maintaining an edge that pushes them to the brink of their abilities. The band, made up of Marra, Danny Quinlan, Michael Gorgen and Andrew Hagiwara, fuse influences of hardcore, punk and rock for an intense experience that’s aggressive yet accessible.
Rescuer released their first full-length album, With Time Comes The Comfort, on Rise Records in early 2013 and has since toured with the likes of letlive., HRVRD, Night Verses, This Is Hell and Frameworks. The band will continue touring through the end of the year and will begin working on their next release soon.

Weird I wonder why they left rise

Their Rise release was pretty stellar. I think No Sleep is a better fit for them anyway.

Inside of your heart always
One of my favorite albums to come out at the beginning of the year. Rise wasn't gonna do much for them. Thanks No Sleep!

Wouldn't be wrong to assume that it sold incredibly poorly by Rise standards. Band was too little for them to develop, I'd imagine.

I'm very excited about them signing to No Sleep. Their sound definitely fits in with the rest of the roster on No Sleep.

Je suis l'Alpha et l'Oméga
Band got a lot of good buzz but I don't see why. Was one of the more dull hardcore releases in recent years IMO.

I can't imagine Rise would think these guys would sell much at all, especially with the kids that mostly listen to Rise bands. I do like how their signing a bunch of different bands now.

Really liked their first release, but also saw they were hindered by rise, and the recording options they gave this band. The producer, engineer, and mixer obviously were not comfortable with this genre which made the finished product sound off. Really excited they're on No Sleep, I think they'll thrive!
