I like everything that HTL has released, each effort has this great appeal to it. The all around catchiness, energy and song structures just draw listeners in. Finally with Thief Club we get to see the influence Nick has on HTL and it's awesome. In no way am I discrediting HTL because I love them but it's fascinating to see all the small HTL things that are going on in Thief Club. I love the stop time guitars and the second guitar riding the octaves.. call it obvious but it's honest and damn refreshing. I am pumped for this record. I feel like I did when I was waiting for skip school to be released.
Ima be honest and say I havent listened just because of the name "Theif Club" even though one of da homies (ha) use to blast Hit The Lights music everytime I was in his whip.. But im glad I checked this teaser out because this dude wrote some of the best pop punk songs from our scene and i still think he has alot to offer.
