Couldn't think of a more appropriate title for this record.
After seeing a slew of AP-favorite bands at RiotFest Chicago, this is one band that was sorely missed. Some bands in particular sounded really awful compared to their studio stuff (i.e. Yellowcard- That dude cannot sing live).
By comparison, NFG sounds AMAZING live. AFI as well.
I hold these guys in high esteem for a reason, but it doesn't a exempt them from criticism. Their first two albums were wonderful. Sticks and Stones is decent while Catalyst is just...
Coming Home though is probably their best album. It's not like they're bad at pop punk. Like I said, they dropped two of the best and most influential pop punk albums ever. But, man did they pull off that melodic alternative pop thing, whatever it is, really well.
Not Without A Fight is decent, it was just more of a disappointment considering it followed CH. And Radiosurgery is sort of boring. Those three new tracks kick some serious ass though.
