AP.net Podcast: Kevin Devine (Episode 21)

Posted by: Drew Beringer (10/18/13)
This is absolutely one of the best conversations we've had yet on the AbsolutePunk.net Podcast. A few weeks ago, Jason and I had the pleasure of speaking with Kevin Devine about his two new albums, Bulldozer and Bubblegum, the recording of said albums, crowd-sourcing, and more.

You can subscribe to this podcast in a variety of ways: via iTunes, your own RSS feed (instructions below), or streaming/downloading the mp3 in the replies. You can also find our previous episodes on iTunes and SoundCloud. As always, we hope you enjoy.

That was a fantastic interview. I can't fucking wait to see him tonight.

And I'm with you, DrewB. Concrete and Clouds is awesome. "Off-Screen" is such a great track. What an opener.

Great podcast. One thing I appreciate about Kevin Devine outside of his musical talent is his ability to explain/communicate his thoughts so well.

Its always strange when one of my favorite lyricists needs to struggle their way through an interview and can't string three cohesive sentences together. It seems to fly in the face of their talent to convey a thought.

Kevin doesn't do this and I appreciate it.

I consider "Off-Screen" one of the most underrated songs in this scene.

Great questions on the podcast. As always, Kevin comes across so sincere and thoughtful, which always incentives my desire to support his career (on top of loving what he puts out).
