The Company We Keep vocalist Haden Brightwell will not be touring with the band; TCWK will perform their 11/14 - 11/16 dates with a replacement vocalist, and has dropped all other tour dates. A statement from guitarist Brian Southall is below, with another expected in the coming weeks.
Branden & I wanted nothing more than to spend these next few weeks on stage playing our new album for anyone that would listen, but now that will not be possible. Unfortunately, Haden informed us last week that she will be unable to join us on this tour. Her reasons are not ours to share. Our friend Kara Dupuy has offered to help us out during this time so that we can at least perform at our 2 Album Release shows in Michigan. Kara and I haven't shared the stage since the BoysNightOut days, and I'm looking forward to playing with her again, even if just these three dates. You can see confirmed tour dates in the replies.
We will have more of an update soon, but for now, if you live in the midwest and care about seeing this band, I'd suggest making a trip now.
yeah, brian's post on his personal page hints this might be the end of the band, at least in terms of performing live for the foreseeable future (which i take to mean that haden's out and there's little chance of more from this band). i wonder what the deal is.
