Our interview with Brandon Boyd (of Incubus fame) can be found here, where he talks about his new project with Brendan O'Brien, Sons of the Sea. The track "Jet Black Crow" can also be streamed in the replies.
Thereís definitely some intentionally autobiographical material in almost everything Iíve ever written. I guess you could say my life or my experience thus far is the most cooperative muse. I make very consistent mistakes in my life. I learn hard lessons, and I learn about those things through an abstractive externalization of them. I think thatís what a lot of artists do. Youíll draw out the things youíre feeling when youíre writing them down and form them into clever little sentences, and somehow it makes more sense to you. Itís a quasi-cathartic process.
