180gram colored vinyl ain't cheap, but it's also not that pricy and can be sold for way more than regular vinyl.
Do they have rights to the masters? A major label release explains the prices perfectly and even the idea behind repressing it.
independently, NMH managed to price their box set at 88 bucks, which seems a whole lot more consumer friendly.
These won't have a problem selling, but the initial 200 price tag will drive away most fans now a days in such a price sensitive consumer age.
