Don't get me wrong, the song isn't bad in any sense... its just not CIM... their sound has changed so drastically, I feel like I would dig it a lot more if it were a different band, just kind of kills that sense of nostalgia.
Agreed though I can't stand this direction at all. Seems only enjoyable under the influence IMO. I don't fault them in any way for growing away from a sound that they put out when they were younger or for wanting to try new things. I do fault them, however, for creating music that is virtually nothing like their other releases while under the Closure In Moscow moniker. Bands change over releases, great - as long as it's within the same sound spectrum. It's the music equivalent of releasing a comedy sequel to a drama movie. The Pianist 2: Hitler Was CRAZAY
