When he interviews most metalcore bands (Blessthefall, I See Stars, Upon This Dawning etc) they usually seem to be enjoying it. Not all of them, but most of them. Even bands/people you would expect to be ALL SERIOUS ALL THE TIME (such as Veil Of Maya or Shane from Silverstein) seem to be having a good time during their interviews with Bryan.
I don't see why it was necessary from him to interview Andy Biersack 30 trillion times, though. And as far as that whole Never Shout Never thing from a while back goes, I think everyone involved could have handled it a lot better. Christofer Drew didn't have to get so angry when he knows how Bryan typically interviews bands, but I don't think it was something Bryan should have necessarily been crying over, either.
Certain bands refuse to work with him, such as Bring Me The Horizon, and letlive. Other bands have interacted with him once, and refuse to do anymore with him. So many bands have detailed the arduous process of doing something with him (1 hr setup times, etc.).
I respect that he's a friend to some people that don't have any, but he needs to do some research and show some passion.
