Well deserved. I hope it helps them sell a few more records.

Good for them. "Save Rock N Roll" was a solid album--at least there is some sort of "rock" in "Rockin' New Years Eve." Pop-punk/pop-rock, whatever you want to call them. The rock community has pretty much destroyed itself by not sticking behind the bands that are successful because they take a pop-music angle.

I had to laugh at the lineup. Nothing "rockin'" about this special.

"Dick Clark's New Years Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest" reminds me of "Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim".

I haven't heard My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark enough since that record came out. I always figured that song would be perfect for TV promos or sports highlight montages, and they missed a big licensing opportunity

What the mainstream media considers "rock" just makes me want to cry. If Jennifer Hudson and Robin Thicke are "rockin", well then I'm Lebron James.

Artists usually play around 3 or 4 songs on this show iirc. Hopefully they manage to fit in My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark, they haven't played it live nearly enough.
