Amazing album, although it has never really blown me away either. One that I respect and enjoy more than love. But I still listen to it every so often, so it could click more one day in the future.
Sunday Morning is the best song here, but not really indicative of the sound(s) of the album.
Waiting for the Man and Heroin are the other stone-cold classics, but there really isn't a dud. And yes, the album is still very fresh. The more I learn about the 80s indie rock (hardcore/post-hardcore/noise/grunge) scene, the more I hear those sounds in this album, which was released almost 15 years before indie rock became a thing.

Oh, and VU's best song is still Pale Blue Eyes (from their s/t).

You two should hang out
We've probably argued over something pointless before, does that count?
