Pretty disappointed with the track listing on this. Would have loved them to have put it out with tracks like Halloween, Misery, Blue Dhalia and Hold You Up included since they're not album tracks, but obviously that's going to be something to do with label issues of course now they're on a major. I have no real need to spend money on a bunch of live and acoustic tracks either way which is a shame.

I already forked up cash for the 7" collection but I'm a sucker for anything vinyl.

Happy to see cassettes making a comeback Glad I saved all my Stone Temple Pilots and Nirvana cassettes I bought 19 years ago.

I haven't even heard of 3 out of 4 of those tracks you named.... feel like Christmas has come early with some great Gaslight tunes I've never heard to listen to!

Not huge on the cassettes, but as I said in the other thread, really think this will be a very enjoyable release despite the somewhat familiar tracklisting - in the past few years since American Slang, Brian Fallon et al have done no wrong.

Would die for another Horrible Crowes release one day

So weird that cassettes are making a comeback. What's the sound quality like compared to a CD or mp3? Is it really better or is it more of a novelty item?

As much as '59 Sound is my favorite record in the last 7 years or so, I have no desire to grab this cassette. I'm not even sure I have anything to play it on at this point......

I kind of want the 59' sound cassette but it doesn't seem to be a limited release so I'll probably wait awhile to pick it up. I don't get the hate for cassettes personally, since I was little I've had a combo type record player that also plays cassettes and it's always sounded pretty good but maybe it's because of the speakers I use? Idk.

Cassettes are absolutely worthless and definitely a novelty, but holy shit yes I need this. I was disappointed to see them in S1D's list of what they were selling for The Fest, but am glad they're putting them online.

They also degrade with each play. Cassettes are to CD's as VHS are to DVD's

Halloween was a fan club exclusive, and I'm not even sure they've gotten their 7" yet, so that would launch a riot, and misery/hold you up are on the Black Friday 10" so I can see why they aren't there. Blue Dhalia was on Handwritten which wasn't released by S1D, so that could have something to do with that.

I wish they released a blue Dhalia single with Sliver or as a b side to handwritten/whatever the final single for the cycle is.
