If I'm not mistaken, when Time refers to the "Person of the Year" they're referring to the person who had the biggest impact on society that year, not the best person of the year.

If I'm not mistaken, when Time refers to the "Person of the Year" they're referring to the person who had the biggest impact on society that year, not the best person of the year.

Because they weren't allowed to choose Snowden.

Also, I think Pope Francis deserves it. He is helping to change the perception of catholics world wide with everything he says and does. Being a non-catholic Christian who has been disgusted on the stance the church has taken on many things recently, it's very refreshing to see Pope Francis stand up for all the things he has.
