I am certified in Pro Tools, but I don't know the advanced stuff, otherwise I'd kill to do this!

I think passing the certs makes you a wizard. That stuff was tough.

It's tempting for sure, though. Considering...

I'm not PT certified but it's my main DAW and I've never said to myself "damn, I wish I knew how to ..." but I'm super curious as to what's on those tests.

For the most part, it's pretty trivial stuff. I passed the PT 7.1 certification and it was stuff regarding HD I/O connectors, plug-in specific questions, and more general operating stuff. Some questions were super easy and others were pretty ridiculous. I'd be surprised if anyone could pass it without reading the 101, 110, 201 books.

ie: how many samples does kontakt support, difference between equal gain and equal power fades, what's the name of the cable to connect the 192, etc.

considering feldman recorded a vibrator for the into of a Used album, I'm sure he wants someone outside the box that is proficient in pro tools and all that, but then again I don't know shit and I just fuck around with self learning in logic pro.

Protools is still industry standard?
Love Feldy but gross, PT is overpriced.
