I keep seeing this posted on AP and I don't understand why. The man arouses vitriol because he's clearly a deluded tool, he's a deluded tool because he arouses vitriol and he's convinced himself that makes him important. It's a circular conversation and it's not even worth having, so I hate reading things about him.
Serious question though: Where does this fall in the spectrum of all the blatantly superficial, boring white-rap that's oversaturated the "rap scene"? I don't think I'm qualified to make an opinion on this kind of music, but I can see a bunch of MGK/Mac Miller fans digging this garbage because it's up their alley. If that's the case: good on him for having crossover appeal. I honestly hope he sticks to it and finds great success so his awful band stops touring. I'd much rather have him be the laughing stock of an intentionally silly and flashy scene than see people from the punk scene idolizing him and making an ass of themselves.
I am a big mac fan, and hip hop fan in general, and no i do not dig this. This would never cross over and i feel the only people who will like this will be fans that he already has.
This is worse than T Mills.
