Hopefully this thread hasn't been made already but I decided to make this one after reading thru the responses to each of the 2014 lineup announcements so far. Which year of Warped tour was your favorite/most memorable? I'm mainly referring to lineups but I'm sure some years of Warped were more memorable to some more than others regardless of the lineup, which is fine.

For me, 2003 was Warped's best year as far as lineup goes. To this day I don't think 2003 has ever been topped and at this point I doubt that it ever will be.

The reasoning behind my opinion:

AFI
All-American Rejects
Ataris
Bowling For Soup
Brand new
Coheed & Cambria
The Early November
Glassjaw
Mest
Midtown
Motion City Soundtrack
Something Corporate
The Starting Line
Sum 41
Taking Back Sunday
The Used
Underoath

I still have my ticket stub for 2005 as well as 2003. 2005 was definitely memorable too. But after comparing the lineups from both years, I went with 03 as my favorite. I do agree with you though.

I tried doing this, but I think I was blending two years together. I tried finding the lineup of one where I knew a few bands played, but the few lineups I've found don't match up.

For 1999, It doesn't help that I don't even remember the city, just that one was "upstate NY". But I know one of them had Showoff and MXPX at the same show (almost at the same time, actually), but none of the lineups I've found match up. Most sites also have AFI in 2000, but I could have sworn I saw them in 1999.

So it'll be either 1999 or 2000, once I square some facts away.

the '05 lineup was awesome, but i wasn't able to go. still bummed about that. of the years i went, my favorites were '08 (when i went twice), and '12. the scheduling couldn't have been better for my date of the latter year.

I can never keep the years straight. I know one year (2004 maybe?) I reeeeally liked the lineup and me and my sister even called into TRL to try and win tickets lol. I think MCR and FOB were headlining but I know there were other artists I wanted to see. The first year I went (?) was a great time imo. I didn't think the lineup was super amazing, but it was the kind of Warped lineup that I love - a handful of bands I really want to see, and a few I'm curious about checking out. It sounds weird, but I don't like when the lineup is too good because I don't like mourning over overlapping bands and having to sacrifice seeing an artist I'm looking forward to. The last time I went (2008) was really boring and awful and I just kind of sat around a lot. I think I really wanted to see like two artists and the rest was me just checking stuff out. idk why I went if I didn't care for the lineup, in retrospect.

Between the two I'd say the '05 lineup is better not even because of the bands but because of the year. That's when the band's listed had their best material out. For example, Mmhmm and Commit this to Memory.

2004 was my first year attending Warped. I was just getting into pop punk and went to see New Found Glory and Yellowcard. I wish I could go back in time and check out all the other bands I missed then.

New Found Glory
Rufio
