$17 for a CD, $30 for it signed? These reward prices are a bit high, but the $40 bike ride would be awesome

To each their own, but if you really like the band, price shouldn't really deter you -- especially since it's not some giant label taking a majority of the money, but the band themselves. But I'm also the guy who paid $100 for The Satellite Years on vinyl just so I could hear it on wax haha so I realize my obsession with music is not the norm. Either way though, this is a great chance to hear more material from a truly unique and talented group of guys; I'm stoked!

Sidenote: I wish The Receiving End of Sirens would do something similar -- I'd donate my life for another record with Casey on it haha

Cool, but $30 for just the vinyl? Ugh.

They're expensive to produce, and it's an eclectic (albeit growing exponentially in recent years) market. Sure it's not as cheap as some new record on Amazon but it's not like $30 is outrageous. After the career they've had, and considering they're releasing this themselves, I think the price is justified. To some people that's like 3-4 packs of cigarettes (I don't smoke, but it's a convenient comparison) for the price of a new work of art that will be with humanity ceaselessly into the future.
