Day at the Fair - one of the most underappreciated bands of the Drive-Thru Records glory days - is back with their first song in nine years. Head to the replies to stream "The Brightening," which was produced by Rob Freeman. If you like what you hear, pick up the single on Bandcamp, iTunes or Amazon. All profits will go toward the recording of their final album, The Epilogue, which is due out later this year on Broken Heart Records.
Streamed last night, downloaded this morning. The first verse is kind of weak but the song really picks up after that. Sounds like it'd be the perfect album opener, very reminiscent of The Rocking Chair Years.
