"This project really felt like the next big thing to me when I was working on it, and I am still baffled as to why it has not been able to break through like some of my other records."

Really, Joey? You don't know why?

These are just all horrendous, minus The Color Morale. I specifically pick these albums out when I think of the ones I hate the most in scene culture, coincidentally...

Really? Zombie EP is an album you hate most in scene culture?

I really need to check out New Demons. Don't really care for any of the other albums he named besides The Flood (decent gym album)

No offense, but they are just as good (if not better) than a lot of the bands you post here. Their theatrics are a bit much for my tastes these days, but the album is ambitious and melodically pleasing. That said, a little surprised it's on here as I think he just mastered the album.

Have long loved and followed his work, but his write up is a bit "look and me and what I did". Would have liked to know more behind the releases rather than claims of being better than his peers.

Interesting. I'd love to read one of these on Kris Crummett, Cameron Mizell, and James Paul Wisner.

Zombie EP is like the least scene thing that TDWP has put out.

Oh yeah generic metal with a couple parts sped up to make it seem like they're "progressing" and hey, since zombies are extremely popular right now because of certain tv shows and movies, let's make that the concept. It will be like a new band altogether.

At least now I know where to point the finger every time one of these shitty, overproduced albums comes out and kids eat up like tastycakes. This guy actually has teens believing guitars and drums are capable of producing sounds on recordings that sound like exploding bombs and metal slamming together.

It was progression, it was pretty much the beginning of their new sound.
