The new albums from Hundreds, Warpaint, and Cherry Glazerr have been replaying constantly on my iPod, and I'm thoroughly impressed with Taking Back Sunday's latest record. As for EPs, Ladylike Lily's Blueland is a gem and a half.

My favorite release this year and also one that has flown under the radar for most people, especially in the US, is Johnny Foreigner- You Can Do Better. I think it's a masterpiece.

Modern Baseball and Hotelier have been my two favorites at this point.
Somos, The Menzingers, Manchester Orchestra, and You Blew It! also made great records

Against Me! - Transgender Dysphoria Blues

That's definitely the favorite for me so far, although quite a few others (TBS, St. Vincent, La Dispute, The Hotelier, Bayside, Architects, Alcest, Behemoth, Angel Olsen, Periphery, Tides of Man) are pretty great.

Current order that will change many more times

Hotelier
The Chain Gang of 1974 - Like Bombay Bicycle Club but better, a little more rocking then aloof.
Seahaven - Might be the beneficiary of recency but so good
Foster the People - They got burned for going in a different direction than the last album but the songwriting i s far superior. Each song seems to be better than the previous, love the back half.

Thanks for the heads up on new Johnny Foreigner, yeah I didn't even know it was out
