Yeah, that makes a LOT more sense. Mr. Tate, I feel like the title of the article should be changed so as to avoid confusion.
I see no confusion with the title and what happened.

Looking at the situation - it's very clear that Prodigy does not believe critics are qualified to rate their music, regardless of the score.

It's also an interesting point to look at and discuss ...

"The struggle" becomes irrelevant once you're a rapper using twitter to attack a reviewer
Why's that?

Waiting for you to way in on this. What do you think?
I, in broad strokes, agree with much of what you've said. I think anyone declaring this "racism" doesn't know what racism is ... and that people don't like how this was worded compared to if someone else had written a long dissertation about criticism and the power dynamics of race within.

This discussion has happened before and I think a dialog about criticism itself is important -- however some of the comments in this thread are why I've avoided those discussions recently.

(I think the reviewer's response was bad.)

Alright, I'll bite: how is this not racism? He said the reviewer isn't qualified to analyze the album because he's not from the same "blood stream." I mean... Yikes.
You'd be better served asking for a more comprehensive definition of racism here:

I'm not in the mood to debate with anyone.

The irony of this whole situation, particularly with regard to this comment, is that Mobb Deep is performing here in Portland on Sunday at a very hipster-friendly and fashionable bar/lounge space.
It bums me out that the Doug Fir is now considered "very hipster-friendly" ...
