That was pretty funny. I remember SOD being one of my favorite labels back in the day, mostly due to all their awesome compilations. I wonder how Bruce would react meeting Joe now, after signing Gaslight Anthem and their obvious Springsteen influence.

Pretty great story. I loved the part about Bruce saying "You know, when I'm home...I just like to stay home."

That was really awesome. I'm so jealous, just like Joe, that would be the greatest day of my life if it was me.

Great story. Long live The Boss. Long live Joe Sib. Gotta love it when a guy from your hometown makes it and runs one of the best labels in punk and rock n roll.

Great vid. I had a similar experience meeting Bruce backstage at the Starland ballroom at a bad religion show around his Magic tour. He was there with his kids who were BR fans and Bruce was the nicest dude. Granted, I didn't get to have dinner w/ him & The Edge but I can relate to Joe's shock & excitement meeting Bruce!

"Joe, This is the night for once in your life;Shut the fuck up." That was hilarious. I'd like to think I'd play it cool in that situation, but I'd probably forget to breathe and pass out.
