I was going in with low expectations, but this is actually a good, solid rock album. Keys to the Kingdom, All for Nothing, Rebellion, Mark the Graves, and A Line in the Sand are the standouts for me. And I was really surprised with War. They really went punk rock with that song.
After one listen I thought it was a pretty cool twist on their sound - back to heavier rock but in a different way than the first two albums...seems like I'm one of the few who has enjoyed every album they put out, but I think this is quite good
I like it so far, not sure exactly how much, but it is good. At least a few tracks/moments that are genuinely pretty surprising coming from them, and in that sense it seems a little more like a proper follow-up to ATS than Living Things was.
