I think people were questioning why the "new" song was mostly (exactly? I'm not sure...) the same as the demo version.

I've always liked Armor for Sleep, but that little rant at the end was a bit much. If he doesn't like some people's opinions of his band, tough shit. I have lots of friends that can't stand AfS. Does that make me like them less? No.

edit: okay i can see the disses and i can see ben's perspective on things but, yeah. you need to take those with a grain of salt. like you said, you're touring and kids are coming out to support you. that should be enough.

DTMB is one of my favorite albums too so, i'm not just bias on this.

Sucks when people criticize this site, but I'd feel the same way if I were in a band and had to deal with this all the time. Even though he's not happy with the website, it's good that it doesn't carry over into the band and he doesn't let it get him down. As long as he's making music and making people happy, who cares what a bunch of people on a website think?

What's weird to me is that I've always liked and supported this band ... we were one of the first sites to cover them and I know there's a bunch of fans of theirs on here.

It's weird to see such hostility.

I am glad he feels the need to champion a cause against a website. Not just for himself, but for bands everywhere!

I can understand where he's coming from. It does feel bad when people shit on what you are passionate about especially after putting a lot of work into it, I know I would feel like that too if it happened to me and honestly, I'm a fan of everything Ben and the guys have put out so far so I'm really looking forward to hearing this EP.

yeah! I'm sure you don't remember this but you sent me a song of theirs a long time ago praising this band. So yeah, what a shame. : /
