I HOPE your joking. Have you ever heard their first album in 2004? It's a masterpiece.
Their sophomore release might not have been the greatest thing, but it still had some solid tracks.
I'm sure the third effort will make up for that. I respect you because you are a fan of anberlin, but to say that this providence is a rip off of the Higher is just an insult...I'd understand if you said something like GAB, because they are influenced by that band. Honestly, I think TP is one of the rising (Christian-influenced) indie/pop bands out there...Hopefully the third release will change your mind.
Mostly going for This Providence and Hey Monday. A kind of A Rocket To The Moon. I'm still bitter about The Cab headlining over This Providence. I hope TP at least plays the same amount of songs as The Cab though. Hopefully I can go to the Fresno one.
