Outside of NY what is your favorite town/city/venue to play in?
Anthony: Our last show in Sydney was amazing. Most bands don't make it over to Australia very often and the fans know how difficult it is to get there and they are very appreciative. They are really excited about American bands coming over

Bands always say stuff like that to us but Australians are never sure how to take it. With Anthony though - and the rest of the guys, 2 of whom I talked to for about an hour that night - you really got the feeling they meant it. We appreciate it. Looking forward to the new album.

I've heard Anthony was kinda a dick, but he's always seemed like a nice dude.

Quite the opposite. He used to kinda duck everyone and blamed it on his fear of people. He's a really good dude. He has a sincerity when he's talking to you. You don't feel bullshitted at all.

anthony and all the boys of bayside are the most down to earth people ever. i wish every band were as genuine as them.

Their new album has a very, very high chance of being my album of the year. I'm so excited for this. Great interview too, Anthony seems pretty cool.

Bayside never let me down; and I'm pretty sure they won't this time also.

Bayside is one of those bands you'd be happy if they blew up because they have a lot of integrity for being in a pop punk band.

I just recently, and finally got in The Walking Wounded. I'm liking it a lot now, but I have a feeling that Shudder will be one of those cds where you like it instantly.

I'm fucking stoked.

Anthony: We have gotten a lot more mature as musicians. I think it's really important for musicians and song writers to realize that getting better doesn't mean getting more complicated. It's about being able to step outside of that songs or that part and know what it really sounds like, not what you think it sounds like
