awesome! although i'm sad to see freese go (was lucky enough to see him on this current tour), trent always knows what he's doing when it comes to picking musicians to interpret his songs. congrats to ilan and best of luck to him! he has some big shoes to fill.

I just read his wikipedia article. If all that is true, this kid has already lived like everyone on here's dream.

lessons from Travis Barker, playing Woodstock and Warped Tour, filling in for drums with NOFX, being in a band with dudes from Fenix TX, being in the lostprophets and NIN...and having a cool solo project. and he's fucking 20. what a badass.

You have to admit that his drumming does look very impressive. And his background, man, that's just unbelievable. It's shame to see Josh Freese go, but his replacement looks promising.
