Hm? They have tour dates lined up. I'm already planning on seeing them in early March opening up for We The Kings in Pittsburgh (not actually going for WTK, but VE and There For Tomorrow on the same bill? How can I say no to that?) -- they probably just want to have a record aside from Perceptions to sell on that tour, and cutting an EP will let them make the deadline.

FBR have done this with TFNB and ARTTM recently... i s'pose thats their business plan ..

haha =) well, i didnt run the label however, we had a 1 firm with our label and LUNA actually did very very well for us in Japan and US wise with us not being on a major and running off an indie that had never released anything... we got and continue to get really good publishing off the licensing of songs and the more it gets put into different countries, i think it will continue to do well.

Now, the next logical step for us is to release an EP of our old stuff while we can before we do anything deal wise with anyone so we can straight pocket everything since we own masters to all our catalog.

As you mention 'old stuff', I've always been puzzled that wikipedia lists a 2000 album by you guys...

Care to clear that up?

hehe yeah, that whole page is alot of shit that i myself are confused of as well. I dont know who wrote alot of that stuff but its way funny. We have had demos for years, but when I say old stuff, im talking 05/06 that never got released because it was done before we signed without a budget and the label would not let us release it. Its not James Paul Wisner quality but I think its fucking rad stuff, and I want it to get out for kids to have. We are going to be doing a bunch of fly dates in the new years, colleges, japan, hawaii, alaska etc and we are talking about getting Wisner to mix and touch up the EP and then also track a Cover EP of our favorite songs... then I think we will talk about a follow up to LUNA when everyone is ready. Ill be getting geared up on some fun side projects with former major label band guys and im also going to be recording a solo, and doing songwriting and cowrites for others artists, movies and crap. I just wanna be involved with anything music... i have been going to alot of local shows too lately. Its really awesome to see bands who are just starting but its frustrating too because its like watching someone make out with your girlfriend. Now, altho that has never happened to me, thats what i feel like watching someone else on the stage cause I love being up there singing for people. haha

So this is weird, but if your going to ask me... what are you plans for the new year? Life and all that jazz
