do they even have any good bands?

I'm only doing this for the Rookie of the Year download, and the, The Spill Canvas video, otherwise, of the bands that they offer, I don't really like them that much.

They have alot of good bands.

The Reign of Kindo
Inkwell
Canon

PLEASE pick up kiernan mcmullan's song. his album is one of the best hidden gem's of '08 and was in my top 10 of the year. on top of that, his 14 song album is only 4 bucks on itunes right now. give it a listen :)

kiernan mcmullan is a great singer and songwriter in my opinion,
might not be the average AP reader's cup of tea, but worth a shot i think

Oh I REALLY wish labels would do this kind of thing more often... I just got the free songs, not hearing of any of those bands beforehand - and while I don't like most of them I'm REALLY digging Kiernan McMullan, Inkwell and The Reign of Kindo rignt now. Might have to go buy their records

And Canon sounds like a total Radiohead ripoff, imo.

I wonder what they will do for January 11th, 2011.

Canon isn't bad, but reminded me immediately of a sort of Radiohead/Copland.
